Camp Chaos Does It Again

Well we did it. Dad officially came home today and he was non the wiser to what was going on at home.

What was going on at home you ask? This.
 
"Yep, they're all here for you. And yes, lunch, looking at homes, and the grocery store were all ploys so everything could be set up and everyone could get here."
 
Rapunzel made deviled eggs and frosted the cupcakes. SAJ attempted to keep things under control. Luckily Aunt Tickle and Do Bug, another family/friend, showed up and lent they're very capable helping hands. We had kabobs, corn on the cob, salad, german potato salad, brocolli salad, grilled veggies, jello salad, and of course a truck cake.
 
SAJ designed and made the truck cake. It was very yummy. It was a triple layer chocolate cake, with a Kit Kat grill, Ice Breakers Sours headlights, and Pinwheel tires, with an oreo pie crust street.
 
Everyone had a great time, and Dad was very surprised. The hardest part of the whole thing was not blogging about it. Welcome home Dad. We Love You.

We all miss you very much and can't wait until you are home again.

We hope your lap is big enough for all of us, because we're all ready in our snuggly jammies for you.

Back in the Sticks

Well, here I am out in the sticks again for a niece fix. I just can't seem to stay away. Ever since I decided not to clean up all the time, I've had a much better time out here. I sat out in the sun on my mom's swing with my brother and Super Chic this morning. We just sat there soaking up some warmth and sipping coffee. It was great. It's starting to get cold already. Guess what that means? Fall! Pumpkins! I can't wait.

We also had some fun playing around with some big mongo wax lips. Even my mom joined in on the fun.

Dear SAJ,

I found these in your car, with a set of matching gloves of course. And since I know how much you ADORE toe socks and gloves I thought that maybe I'd requsition them. If that's alright with you of course. Since Ladybug bought them for you when you went to the hospital to have BB, I have to ask first. If you'd raher keep them for memorabilia I completely understand. Either way, they'll put a smile on your face.
